Bringing Up Baby

These words mark the second entry into what I imagine will become a map of the life of my little company, The Body Studio. Interesting how the passion behind an idea can make it come alive. I’ve even personified it. The studio has become a “she” in my mind. She’s like my child, which is kind of cool. I can nurture her, shower her with the attention she needs to grow, I can feel a sense of pride and guide her in the direction of invigorating and inspiring the unlimited potential of the human spirit, all without poo diapers, or adolescent angst, or scaring the hell out of grabby, teenaged boyfriends – it’s great.
With newly realized clarity and honesty about what The Body Studio is, what it’s values are, into what realms I’d like to guide it, and how we’re going to get there, these next few years may provide lots of little pencil marks of growth. I’m inspired, and I hope to share that spark with others.
